FisheriesTrishal pond trial uses AI and sensors to raise pangas output, officials say
In November 2024 the Trishal upazila administration in Mymensingh said a trial in a government pond in Kanihari union had used sensors, a mobile app and AI to farm pangas. Those involved claimed it could raise output three to four times and save 70 percent of fish from gas-tablet poisoning.
