Spoon-billed sandpiper and two other endangered shorebirds are vanishing from Sonadia

Sonadia once drew about 30 spoon-billed sandpipers a winter; last winter only three were seen. Great knot and Nordmann's greenshank are falling fast too, and 12 of 20 coastal shorebird species have declined significantly.
