EnvironmentNoise is changing how animals live, with 37 percent fewer animals in loud places
A Queen's University Belfast analysis in Science of 214 experiments on 177 species found that about 80 percent of species showed physical or behavioural changes from human noise, and that animal density is about 37 percent lower in noisy areas.
