CropsAman harvest begins in Satkhira with salt-tolerant BINA dhan23
On 21 September 2025 farmers in Chhonka, Satkhira Sadar, began cutting the salinity- and submergence-tolerant BINA dhan23 at a BINA field day. Scientists said the variety tolerates 8 dS/m salinity and 15 days under water, and was ready in 112 days.
