On IQAir's index on Saturday evening Dhaka was the world's third most polluted city, with its worst reading at Agargaon (186). The air in Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and Dhanmondi was unhealthy too; experts point to lakes, tall buildings and the winter temperature inversion.
