Tanvir Apu, a world traveller born in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, now lives in Finland. By July last year he had visited 905 cities around the world, and he visits his homeland from time to time.

On 29 June he posted two photos on his Facebook account, along with a description.

In the caption he wrote: "In Finland, flyovers like this are built over roads for animals to cross. Developed countries have the same kind of system."

Apu wrote: "For thousands of years forest animals have been crossing. Then suddenly civilised people build a road through the middle of the forest. So they cleverly came up with this method for the animals to cross. In fact every country should have it."

Many people commented on his post, some mentioning Australia. One commenter, Saidul Sayed, wrote: "Something like this has been done on the Cox's Bazar train route too, for the elephants of the reserved forest."

Ahmed Jihad Khan wrote: "Many countries build overpasses or flyovers over parts of forests. India has built flyovers over forest."
