Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid, minister of fisheries and livestock and agriculture, has called on people to complete their sacrifice following health guidelines and in an environmentally friendly way.

He made the call in a message extending warm greetings to the people of the country and the Muslim ummah on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

"Eid-ul-Azha teaches us sacrifice, compassion, humanity and the attainment of the pleasure of Almighty Allah," the minister said. "The spirit of self-sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) inspires us towards morality, responsibility and devotion to human welfare in our personal lives, society and governance of the state."

"The true significance of Qurbani is not merely slaughtering an animal; its main lesson lies in self-purification, self-sacrifice and standing by the helpless and deprived people of society. Let our pledge be to share the joy of Eid with all and to further strengthen harmony, goodwill and brotherhood," Amin Ur Rashid added.

He urged people to perform the sacrifice cleanly, following health guidelines and in an environmentally friendly way. He said the country's agriculture and livestock sectors could be further enriched by using livestock raised by local farmers.

The minister prayed to Almighty Allah for everyone's good health, peace, prosperity and well-being.
