They swore all the time, so there was no way they could stay in front of visitors. Five parrots have therefore been moved from a zoo in England so they can learn better language.

British media outlets the BBC and the Guardian reported that the parrots will have to stay in quarantine until they forget the bad words and learn good ones. Kept apart, the five birds are expected to forget their "foul talk" and become "polite" and "civilised".

According to the BBC, the authorities at Lincolnshire Wildlife Park in the United Kingdom said five African parrots would not, for now, be kept in front of visitors because of their foul language.

The zoo confirmed that the five parrots have been sent to five different people. Once they have mended their ways there, they will be allowed to face visitors again.

US broadcaster CNN reported that the five parrots moved from the zoo are named Eric, Jade, Elsie, Tyson and Billy. For some time, whenever they were together, they had been using "dirty" language.

The zoo authorities have not said what kind of "dirty" words the parrots used.

Zoo official Steve Nicholas said: "We became worried about what the parrots were saying in front of children. So, considering everything, we were forced to take this decision."

Now the wait is on for the five parrots to finish their "good education", after which they will return to the zoo.
