The Road Transport and Highways Division and the Roads and Highways Department organised a tree-planting programme and a special doa mahfil (prayer gathering) to mark July Mass Uprising Day 2025.

After the Zuhr prayer on Tuesday 5 August, special prayers were held at the mosque next to Sarak Bhaban in Tejgaon, Dhaka, for the souls of the martyrs and the speedy recovery of the injured.

Dr Sheikh Moinuddin, the Chief Adviser's special assistant in charge of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, attended the prayers as chief guest and then took part in the tree-planting programme in front of Sarak Bhaban. Md Ehsanul Haque, senior secretary of the Road Transport and Highways Division, and senior officials of the ministry and the Roads and Highways Department were present.

As part of the July Renaissance programme, the guests also visited a blood donation programme organised by the Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) at the DTCA building in Tejgaon. DTCA executive director Nilima Akhter was present.
