Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal marks its 47th founding anniversary on 27 October, and a two-day programme has been announced for the occasion. Assistant office secretary Minhajul Islam Bhuiyan gave the details on Wednesday, 8 October, on the instructions of the organisation's central president Abdul Monayem Munna and general secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan.

On 27 October at 11am, tributes will be paid at the grave of BNP founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital. At noon a free medical camp will be opened at the organisation's central office in Naya Paltan, and colourful rallies will be held in the afternoon in districts and metropolitan areas across the country.

On the following day, 28 October, units in every upazila and thana have been instructed to hold rallies, meetings, tree planting and other programmes.

Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal was founded by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman on 27 October 1978.
