When winter comes, many birds appear on the country's ponds, beels, haors and wetlands. We call them guest birds. But though they are called guests, they come to our country to save their own lives.

As across the country, migratory birds have again arrived at the wetlands beside Jahangirnagar University this year. Since the start of winter the campus has been filled with their calls.

The birds fly in flocks from distant Siberia. Tired after the long journey, they land in search of food and blend easily into the green surroundings of the water.

If you want to see migratory birds, you can easily step away from busy life and visit this campus with its unspoilt nature, where the birds' calls will delight you.
