DMP Commissioner Plants Trees and Releases Fish Fry

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam released fish fry and planted saplings at the Regional Police Lines in Diabari, Uttara, to mark World Environment Day.

A tree-planting and fish-fry release programme was held at the Regional Police Lines (Diabari) in Uttara, Dhaka. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam was present as chief guest. The programme was organised as part of World Environment Day.

At the programme on Saturday (June 5), the DMP commissioner released fry of rui, catla and mrigel into the police lines pond. As part of the tree planting, he also planted coconut and mango saplings there.

DMP Additional Police Commissioner (Administration) Mir Rezaul Alam, Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) Krishna Pada Roy, Additional Police Commissioner (DB) AKM Hafiz Akter and Additional Police Commissioner (CTTC) Md Asaduzzaman were among the senior officers present.
