Another 123 people have been admitted to hospitals across the country with dengue in the past 24 hours, taking the number of patients hospitalised this year to 22,131, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.
Of the new admissions in the past 24 hours, 116 were in the capital and 7 outside Dhaka.
According to the official count, 3,933 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals in 22 days, 7,841 in September, 7,698 in August, 2,286 in July and 272 in June.
A total of 780 dengue patients are currently in hospital at government and private hospitals around the country.
