In the border villages of Gowainghat and Companiganj in Sylhet, autumn has dressed the land in blue sky, white kash flowers and green rice fields.
Autumn changes the familiar face of the countryside. In Sylhet's border villages, broad rice fields now lie at the foot of green hills, rows of white kash flowers sway beside the fields and white clouds drift across a blue sky.
Hills, paddy, pools of water and kash flowers come together in autumn's blue, white and green. The photographs were taken recently in Bichanakandi village in Gowainghat upazila and the Dayarbazar area of Companiganj upazila.
