Light traps, peanut sowing and morning fog: a day across Bangladesh in pictures

Prothom Alo's photographers and correspondents recorded how a late-autumn day passed in the fields, on the riverbanks and in the hills of Bangladesh on 27 and 28 September. Their pictures show a light trap set against crop pests, peanuts sown on a river char, a tractor readying land, a man fishing in a flooded paddy field, and fruit and betel nut on the move to market.

The season is turning too. Morning fog has reached Rangpur before the winter, the hills of Sajek wake up under cloud, and in Dhaka a children's hospital is treating young dengue patients.
