Akij Agro Feed Limited, a concern of the leading industrial group Akij Resource, has honoured its business partners in recognition of their outstanding contribution to its business.

The awards were given to 34 top business partners at a ceremony held at a hotel in Banani in the capital on Saturday (11 April). The chief guest was Sheikh Jasim Uddin, managing director and CEO of Akij Resource.

A press release from Akij Resource said that within a year of starting in January 2025, the company had set an unprecedented example in Bangladesh's feed industry. It operates in three sectors, cattle, poultry and fish, with a total of 67 products.

Speaking at the event, Sheikh Jasim Uddin said: "The tireless work and trust of our business partners have made Akij Agro Feed a trusted company in this short time. This award is a symbol of our gratitude and recognition to them."

ATM Habib Ullah, CEO of Akij Agro Feed Limited, said: "Our goal for the future is to make the country's farming community self-reliant, add a new dimension to production and establish Akij Agro Feed as a trusted name in the livestock industry, while also inspiring our business partners to maintain continuity and excellence in their own businesses."

Also present were Akij Resource's chief people officer Md Afsar Uddin, chief business development officer Mohammad Toufiq Hasan and chief financial officer (Consumer Market Cluster) Sabiha Yasmin, along with other senior officials.

Through the ceremony, Akij Agro Feed Limited reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening long-term relationships with its business partners and pledged to move towards a sustainable and wider partnership in future.
