Afroza Khanam Becomes Food Minister

Afroza Khanam Rita, the civil aviation and tourism minister, has been given charge of the Ministry of Food, with M Rashiduzzaman Millat taking over civil aviation and tourism.

Afroza Khanam Rita, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been given charge of the Ministry of Food.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification to this effect on the night of Friday, 21 August.

Meanwhile, M Rashiduzzaman Millat has been appointed the new Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism. He was sworn in as a minister at Bangabhaban earlier that evening. Rashiduzzaman Millat had been serving as state minister for civil aviation and tourism.

Md Abdul Bari is currently serving as state minister for food. He also holds charge of the Ministry of Public Administration.
