Satkania farmers say a syndicate took the premium on government paddy buying
The state paid Tk 36 a kg for 675 tonnes of boro, Tk 11 above the market; of more than 20 farmers Manab Zamin spoke to, over 15 got only Tk 1,000 for lending their cards, the paper found.
