CropsIndia bans paraquat and cancels every registration of the herbicide
India's agriculture ministry has prohibited registration of paraquat dichloride under the Insecticides Act and cancelled all existing certificates, citing poisoning deaths, the lack of an antidote and bans in more than 70 countries.
