Fisheries35 kg of fry released in Lakshmipur canal; minister pledges 20,000 km of canals
Releasing fish fry into the Rahmatkhali canal, Water Resources Minister Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie said 20,000 kilometres of canals will be dug or re-excavated and 25 crore trees planted within five years; the district fisheries office also gave fry to 33 institutions.
