EnvironmentWorld Bank approves $95.75 million to modernise irrigation in the Kyrgyz Republic
On 12 June 2026 the World Bank approved $95.75 million for the Kyrgyz Republic National Irrigation Investment Program, which was expected to improve irrigation services on about 82,000 hectares and benefit more than 450,000 people.
