CropsICAR chief sets a 75-million-tonne maize goal for India within a decade
Opening the first International Maize Conference in Hyderabad, ICAR Director General M. L. Jat said India should lift maize output from about 55 million tonnes to 75 million and raise productivity 1.5-fold.
