Scottish bank puts £2.5M into MiAlgae's plant turning whisky waste into algal omega-3
The Scottish National Investment Bank's £2.5M ($3.3M) backs MiAlgae's Grangemouth factory, which will ferment whisky by-products into DHA-rich microalgae as a fish-oil substitute for pet food.
