India creates 11 crore digital Farmer IDs five months ahead of deadline
The IDs, built under the Digital Agriculture Mission, are meant to let farmers prove eligibility once for credit, crop insurance, subsidies, procurement and disaster relief; over six crore farmers have already received benefits through them.
