A huge python has been rescued from the ceiling of a house in Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

The snake was rescued from Majid Manzil at Unchapul in the upazila around midday on Thursday, 26 February.

Locals said a python was seen in the ceiling of a house at Majid Manzil in Unchapul at midday. The Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation was informed, and its people came and rescued the snake.

Confirming the matter, Srimangal forest range officer Najmul Haque said the python, about 10 feet long, was released into Lawachara forest.
