At Technical Para in Rangamati, dew clings to green ears of paddy (photo: Supriyo Chakma). At Uttam Bottola in Rangpur a rat is caught in a bamboo trap set in a paddy field (photo: Moinul Islam). At Habinagar, Shayestabad, Barishal, women sit on a village road stripping jute fibre (photo: Saiyan).

Several pictures show fishing. At Gowainghat in Sylhet two men cast a net from a boat (photo: Anis Mahmud). At Shahabriddhi in Titas, Cumilla, a fisher works a canal beside the village with a kharo net (photo: Abdur Rahman Dhali). At Dhangara in Raiganj, Sirajganj, as the Phuljor river starts to fall, two men fish for native species with hooks from a dinghy (photo: Sajedul Alam).

At Habinagar in Barishal, banned China duari traps have been set in rivers and canals, threatening fish and other aquatic life (photo: Saiyan). At Toakul in Gowainghat, buffaloes brought to graze a wetland have left the grass for the canal water (photo: Anis Mahmud).

At Laimi Para in Bandarban, a Bawm woman packs hill-grown painnyagula fruit into crates for sale (photo: Mong Hai Sing Marma). At Sonadanga in Khulna a tiny warbler perches on a kash stem (photo: Saddam Hossain), and on the Shantibagh walkway in Moulvibazar a deep purple flower floats on green leaves (photo: Akmal Hossain).
