AgrotechEU food safety agency says it needs faster, AI-enabled reviews for cultivated meat and other novel foods
In a strategy paper in the EFSA Journal, the European Food Safety Authority names cultivated meat and precision fermentation as priority areas and proposes a human-led, AI-enabled risk assessment model to avoid approval delays.
