LivestockMidge-borne Shamonda virus reaches the British Isles with cases in Jersey cattle
APHA has confirmed the virus, a relative of Schmallenberg that causes fever, diarrhoea, lower milk yields and abortions in cattle, in Jersey and warned of possible further spread in north-west Europe.
