EnvironmentPlan to revive Dhaka's five rivers and 55 canals with tree planting and walkways
State Minister Mir Shahe Alam says work is under way to clean Dhaka's five surrounding rivers and 55 canals of the two city corporations, restore flow, protect banks and plant trees, with sewage treatment plants planned.
