Discarded clothes bury Accra's beaches, and fishers net garments instead of fish
About 40 per cent of the second-hand clothing that reaches Ghana each week from the US, Europe and Australia is unusable; it ends up in drains and dumps, washes onto the beaches and breaks into microplastics.
