Half the world's farmers use some agtech but want proof before paying, McKinsey finds
The Global Farmer Insights 2026 survey of 5,500 farmers in ten countries shows adoption up only 4 points since 2024 (2% in the US), generative AI used by 17% but paid for by 4%, agronomists trusted by 56% and AI by 6%, and input costs the top risk for two-thirds of North American farmers.
