Only 10-15% of rice is machine-harvested: Shykh Seraj makes the case for small machines

Writing in Ajker Patrika, Shykh Seraj notes that 90% of Bangladesh's land is now prepared by machine and about 80% of irrigation is mechanised, but only 10 to 15% of rice is harvested by machine; subsidies should go to small machines for small farmers.
