FisheriesSundarbans dried-fish season opens with fishers in debt and fearing pirates
A five-month dried-fish season begins on Friday on Dublar Char and other Sundarbans islands, with a revenue target of Tk 8 crore. Last season's 5,431.7 tonnes earned Tk 7.37 crore, short of target because of bad weather and pirates.
