ICRISAT, FAO and Saudi Arabia's Saudi REEF programme tested 27 sorghum and 15 pearl millet entries in Jazan and Abha and picked five dual-purpose candidates; the best sorghum beat the best check by 9.3% in grain and 41.3% in fresh biomass.
