Australian cattle levy review proposes $1 a head rise to $6, tied to reforms first

Grassfed cattle levy payers will vote on 24 November on lifting the levy from $5 to $6 a head by July 2028, but only if accountability, biosecurity and integrity reforms are in place by July 2027.
