The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Women Support and Investigation Division has won the Prime Minister's National Award for Tree Plantation 2021. Deputy police commissioner (DC) Humaira Parveen received the award from the chief guest on the division's behalf.

The awards were given on 5 June to individuals and organisations in seven categories for special achievement in tree planting, with the aim of making tree planting a continuing, permanent and spontaneous movement. Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud was chief guest at the event, organised by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

The DMP Women Support and Investigation Division came first in the award's fifth category (Umo), for creating a rooftop garden. The attractive garden on the division's roof has about 400 species of plants, including flowers, fruit, vegetables, herbs and endangered and rare plants.
